We celebrated the Chinese New Year season at our Shanghai headquarters. We came to relax, enjoy and review our vision and plan for the “Year of the Tiger”. We kick-started the celebrations by reviewing our corporate vision. Based on Drees & Sommer's global vision, we discussed adapting it for our Chinese team to encourage everyone to contribute and understand our core values. A team workshop was organized to create a platform for each of us to participate and share our thoughts. In conjunction with this vision, we are also looking ahead to set our goals are for the coming year and envisage the corporate strategy for the next five years.
Independent thinking, collaboration and "added value" are part of Drees & Sommer’s corporate philosophy. We learn from experience, we get inspiration from our colleagues. During the workshop the various groups brainstormed: Each group’s contributions were valuable. As an important part of our annual event, we continued our traditional sport: This year the team chose badminton. We braced the cold and played together.
For us this get together is not only a celebration of the new year but also a reunion to reflect on our challenges and achievement from the “Year of the Ox” and take on new initiatives to welcome the "Year of the Tiger”.
